Sarah Zahnen, C.P.N.P. joined CMA in 2014 — Sarah Zahnen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. After completing her undergraduate education, Sarah spent a year volunteering as a registered nurse in Kingston, Jamaica. Upon returning to the U.S., she practiced as a pediatric nurse in Washington DC and Northern VA, specializing in the care of medically fragile and special needs children. Sarah went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Nursing from the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Catholic University in DC. Part of her clinical training in pediatrics took place at CMA. Sarah is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She loves working with and getting to know special needs children and their families. Sarah is married and lives with her husband in Arlington, VA. The two of them love to travel and enjoy good food.
