
Brian P. Long, MD, FAAP, MPH joined CMA in 2015 — Brian Long grew up in Virginia Beach, VA with his mother and younger brother. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He stayed in Charlottesville, VA for an additional 5 years and received his Medical Doctorate and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from UVA. His Master’s thesis project focused on studying and preventing childhood malnutrition in the slums of Pune, India. Dr Long completed his pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and tennis, hiking the trails of Appalachia, and binge-watching TV series on Netflix with his wife and two cats.
